Way of St. James

Several pilgrims’ ways to Santiago run through A Estrada. The largest and busiest is the Vía de la Plata, which starts in the southern cities of Mérida and Seville.

From San Miguel de Castro, you can walk the last few miles of the Way and reach Compostela in half a day.

The distance to cover is 23.9 km and there are villages along the way with all the necessary services.
